For many patients, having a good smile is extremely important. We want each patient to understand we will do everything possible to make you happy with your new smile. When searching for someone to create your new smile, we suggest each patient keep in mind three things:
1) Quality of Materials - At the Everett Denture Center pllc, we only use the best materials for teeth and acrylic. One of the most beautiful and durable denture teeth available on the market today is made by Ivoclar Vivodent. Click here for the website.
These denture teeth provide a means to create a beautiful front-tooth smile and durable posterior teeth for years of chewing. The pick acrylic base is made from Lucitone 199, an industry standard denture acrylic. This acrylic is manufactured by Dentsply Trubyte. Click here for the website. go back to top
2) Attention to detail – When Mark creates your new smile there can be no question in your mind as to what the final outcome will be. And there is only one way to achieve a certain outcome – the patient must see the new denture teeth in the mouth before the denture is finished. So how is that done?
The first thing we do is choose the teeth. (See picture below). The patient and Mark will look over the many moulds and colors and choose the denture teeth to be used.

Next, Mark will create for each patient a temporary denture, a denture made from wax, insert the denture teeth into the wax and then place the wax denture in the patient’s mouth. Only in this way can the patient see what the new smile will look like. (See picture of two wax dentures below.)

Then the patient must look in the mirror and judge the smile to be satisfactory before Mark will continue. Teeth placed in wax can be changed, moved, turned, twisted into just about any position necessary to suit the eye of the demanding denture wearer.
This is first accomplished using only the upper front six smile teeth. Once the patient approves of this setup, then the denture is finished, or if the patient desires, all the teeth can be inserted in the wax denture and again place the wax denture in the mouth for a continuation of the approval process. go back to top
3) After delivery service – Every new denture is similar to a new pair of shoes. The wearer must break them in. And so it will take some time to get used to a new set of dentures and it is possible that the wearer will get a sore spot and may need an adjustment. The Everett Denture Center pllc offers two choices:
1) The first option allows for three adjustments, and these must be completed in the first month after delivery of the denture.
2) The second option allows for one adjustment each week for two months.
Typically, most patients need only one or two adjustments, and then they are finished. go back to top
